ABOUT PUBLIC SPEAKING TRAINING
Improving your public speaking is an intelligent investment in your ability to deliver both professionally and personally.
And the most effective way to fast track your speaking skills is through consistent one-on-one coaching and training, responsive to your evolving skills and personal goals.
Public Speaking is a Physical Activity
A key philosophy underpinning the training is that public speaking is a physical activity – something you learn by doing, not something you can learn by sitting down and taking notes and listening!
Breath, voice, physical presence and gesture all engage muscles to deliver your message.
While bringing these elements together is easy in our everyday conversations, public speaking can often see things go off the rails – suddenly you are short of breath, suddenly you worry about how your voice sounds, suddenly you have no idea what to do with our hands.
Working one-on-one gives you the opportunity to be train yourself intellectually, emotionally, vocally, and physically to deliver, as you shift your focus from ‘giving a speech’ to ‘acting upon your audience’.
Training takes place in a supportive environment and progresses in response to your evolving public speaking ability. Immediate feedback lets you bring together vocal tone and variety, physical presence and the use of gesture to ensure your message is delivered effectively.
What The Training Will Give You
For inexperienced newcomers, the training empowers you to speak confidently and effectively, bringing together your voice and physical presence to deliver your message.
For more experienced speakers, the training will see you lift your public speaking to the next level by working on specific areas, such as physical presence or vocal tone and variation and ensuring that these new skills are integrated into your focussed and engaging message delivery.
